I believe that music is not only an art form, but a way of life. Creating music is an integral part of who I am, and that is a fact that will never change. It’s not just about finishing projects that I’m getting paid for, but letting the inspiration of any given moment run through me and then channeling it into a song is how I live my life. I feel that you have to leave yourself open to any moments of musical inspiration, and that when they arise I need to be ready to give myself over to them. That does mean that at times I’ll forego plans, or dip out from whatever is going on around me, but it’s a small price to pay where inspiration is involved.
